I drank all the coffee

Updated: May 31, 2019

Let me be the first to tell you that I am NOT a food or coffee critic, but here is my thoughts on all the coffee I consumed while in Nashville.

Over the course of seven weeks in Nashville, TN, I drank a total of 59 cups of coffee - yes, my O.C.D. is kicking in and I'm screaming at myself that I came out with an odd number. Anyways, 34 of those delicious cups were purchased at various coffee shops all around Tennessee. Here is what I thought of them, along with some pictures:

Tin Cup Coffee - visited three times

600 Medical Park Dr, Madison, TN 37115

Iced Caramel Latte (8/10)

- Smokey flavor of the coffee, very smooth

- Perfect blend of caramel

Caramel Cappuccino from Tin Cup Coffee

Caramel Cappuccino (6/10)

- A+ on latte art, but missing the flavor I desired from my first time.

Butterscotch Iced Latte (5/10)

- The first few sips are the best, but after that it just tastes like a butterscotch candy you would find at the bottom of your grandma's purse.

Frothy Monkey - visited five times (three times for coffee)

2509 12th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37204 or 235 5th Ave N, Nashville, TN 37219

Iced Garden Party (8.5/10)

- A great drink that I would recommend to anyone.

Iced Turtle Latte (7/10)

- The more I drank this, the more I didn't like it, but the first time I purchased it - it was a solid 9 out of 10.

Three Brothers Coffee - visited once

2813 West End Ave, Nashville, TN 37203

The Golden Axe Latte (2/10)

- This had GINGER in it. 1/10, DON'T RECOMMEND GINGER IN YOUR COFFEE.

Drug Store/ Barista Parlor (MY FAVORITE) - visited five times

200 4th Ave N, Nashville, TN 37219 (inside the Noelle)

Iced Whiskey Caramel (12/10)

- I have gotten this three times so far and I will continue to go back and get more.

Bourbon Vanilla (8/10)

- Not bad, no hate, just not as great as the Whiskey Caramel.

Dunn Brothers Coffee - visited once

401 Church St, Nashville, TN 37219

*There is actually a location in Friendswood, TX as well*

Creamy Coconut Nirvana (8/10)

- A great drink to complement my Tuscan Turkey sandwich.

The Well - visited twice

147B 4th Ave N, Nashville, TN 37219 or 690 East Old Hickory Boulevard, Brentwood, TN 37027

Tennessee Molasses (Dr. Pepper infused coffee) (11/10)

- Odd but you can't stop drinking it. Watch my YouTube video of my family trying it when they came to visit.

Pinewood Social - visited once

33 Peabody St, Nashville, TN 37210

Crema Cuban (10/10)

- Addictive.

Revelator Coffee - visited once

1817 21st Ave S, Nashville, TN 37212

Nitro Cold Brew (4/10)

- It tastes better in very small quantities, not as a full glass

Killebrew Coffee - visited three times

401 11th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37203

Iced Cuban Latte (10/10)

- Extremely similar tastes to the Crema Cuban at Pinewood Social. Once again, very addictive - and expensive (welcome to The Gulch).

Milk & Honey - visited twice (once for coffee)

214 11th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37203

Burnt Sugar Latte (6/10)

- EXTREMELY sweet, but for those who enjoy a little bit of coffee in their milk and flavored syrup, knock yourself out.

Bongo's Cafe - visited twice (once for coffee)

2007 Belmont Blvd, Nashville, TN 37212

Iced Caramel Latte (6/10)

- A classic choice, but not the best by any means. The flavor of the coffee was bitter, but not in a good way, more so that the beans just weren't fresh anymore.

Billy Goat Coffee - visited once

3690 N Mt Juliet Rd #100, Mt Juliet, TN 37122

Iced Caramel Latte (7/10)

- Again, I went with a classic, but the syrups and beans that a shop uses has a lot to do with the flavors you get. The coffee was just too bland for my tastes here.

Places I wish I would have gone:

CREMA
